Here are some precisions about this album: musicans and instruments : DAVID CASEY rhythm and lead guitar vocals KEITH RUSSELL lead guitar vocals TIM RUSSELL drums vocals DWAYNE TAYLOR bass arp strings vocals origin : Oklahoma city recording in july and august 1980 private production by Tim Russell all songs composed by the members of the group A1 excellent guitar rhythm, the melody is perfect and easy to remember ,the hit of this album without doubt. A2 is a slow song with a good refrain, acoustic and electric guitars and overall a good bass . a good song too. A3 a rock one with efforts on the drums. pleasant A4 has a southern feeling on this slow song but we wait for a final surge which never comes . A5 a rock one totally classic in his treatment ,no surprise, not exceptional but correct . B1 an aerial voice ,good rhythm breaks , southern guitars as we like and an excellent soli so one of the best composition of the group. B2 an epic slow song ,a little progressive feeling ,without doubt the more worked track ,finally excellent . B3 a retro charm for this one, another lead vocalist and good guitar soli in the highpitched notes. B4 the fast rhythm guitar carries away the track to something very pleasant ,in fact it is caracteristic of this band ,the rhythm guitar is always at the origin of the pleasure you have to listen and good guitars soli give them the final touch you need to say they are good tracks and they are!! B5 a slow song too ,very classic. So in conclusion a good album with a little southern feeling ,it is not AOR like i read before buying it, it is good rockin guitar rock songs or slow songs , for me 5 TRACKS are really pleasant even excellent and the rest is listenable without real surprise. Not easy to find this private production ,the quality of the vinyl is not top ,the sound is clear but not exceptional. A likeable discover . A few lines in the acid archives book : "rural rock /hard rock with a seventies sound, half harder sounds with searing guitar leads , and half more mellow with aor moves. good songwriting".
