A lot of punk/powerpop bands emerged from Klippan in the early 80s. Of these, Kriminella gitarrer were really really great. Crap comedy band Torsson are probably the most famous. This one is also supposed to be funny, but the music is good. Anders Åborg of Drömpojkarna were also in the horrendous Aston Reymers Rivaler.
Anyway, thank you for keeping this incredibly sweet page and for making these obscure treasures heard. Lots of love.
Anders Åborg has been a member of many other Swedish bands. Some of the more unknown are mentioned here: http://web.comhem.se/staalberg/rockband.htm (it's in Swedish) He is still playing´, his last project is Klarskinn: http://www.rfod.se/fmk/detail.asp?lang=sw&nr=940
Personaly, i think there's more to Torson than the comedic side (I hate "det spelades bättre boll"). Kriminella gitarrer is, of course, outstanding in the Klippan early 80s but I think both "Kommissarie Roy" and "Johnny & Dom Andra" is worth mentioning. And they both sufferd from the conection with Torson and the fact that they took "funny" names. It's just simpel lo-fi rock the way punk sounded before it became a ganre on MTV.
Here, at Ezhevika Fields, I'm providing information & listening preview samples of lost albums from the past. My only aim is to promote real art & music for some reasons currently unavailable according to my sources. If you are the artist or label & would like the link to be removed just contact me & it will be done.
I'd like to thank all original uploaders; collectors sharing music giving us the unique possibility to explore the culture. Thank you!
