Hello Lisa,

what a nice surprise - I just returned from a 3-week vacation and found all these great new albums posted on your site. Fantastic and varied selection, I love your blog! As an immigrant from Czechoslovakia now living in Canada I am very happy to find out as much as possible about Canadian music history - and you have posted so many great albums that I have never heard of before especially some great music from Quebec. And now this album from my birth country by Mahagon - never heard it before and it is quite interesting, great guitar and violin, good compositions. The scream that opens the album sounds a bit silly but otherwise a great jazz-rock album. Thanks a lot!

I've been listening to this one a lot when I was a kid back in Romania - guess because it was available from within the curtain. I am looking for a cuban LP - but I only remember the cover - a guy in white pants and a red-black T-shirt - on the beach. Piano, mostly. Anyway, these albums prepped me up for Weather Report and other greats. Pretty cool stuff.
