haven't been here for a while, so thanks for all and specially for "tropikos tis parthenou". Also music for the nations looks really promising. Looking forward for more of your excellent posts, and for the greek-album link Sotiris promised. (it's really sad that artists like the ones mentioned don't get much attention in their own country...)
no "edit" option so i'm posting again ;) Another well-acknowledged greek composer-director is Manos Hadjidakis (or Hatzidakis). His work is quite lengthy to be mentioned here, but you should sure try to find (among others)his album "Reflections" recorded in 1969-70 with the New-York Rock & Roll Ensemble
