Knöterich is not the band’s name, although it is always listed under this name in German Kraut-Rock discographies. The private label on which their release appeared in 1973 was called „Knöterich“. This label had 4 more releases (e.g. a band called „Surprise“). So I think that the name of that strange formation – you can’t call them a rock band really – was „Mucke Fuck“. By the way: Their release is an awful collage or combination of comedy and amateurishly performed folk- or rock-music. I listened to their album only once and will never do again! It sounds as if it was taped in a pub by some drunken guys.
Here, at Ezhevika Fields, I'm providing information & listening preview samples of lost albums from the past. My only aim is to promote real art & music for some reasons currently unavailable according to my sources. If you are the artist or label & would like the link to be removed just contact me & it will be done.
I'd like to thank all original uploaders; collectors sharing music giving us the unique possibility to explore the culture. Thank you!
