"Singular record which sounds simultaneously rustic (ie : his use of harmonica, and a general "rootsy" vibe) and sophisticated, in an almost symphonic or baroque pop sort of way (ie : the way he piles up layers of sound, although the end result is always very airy..).
His peculiar, nasal tone of voice also does a little bit of time to get used to, although the record's qualities clearly outshine any audible quirks. Tranquil and beautiful LP, eventually reveals its riches if you give it some time."
