Really good album from rural Germany, somewhere between punk and post-punk. What I love about this album is how varied it is musically, while always keeping its own distinctive sound and gloomy, doomy feel. There are driving punk rockers ("Nervous Breakdown"), dissonant abrasive post-punkers ("Looking at Me"), truly dark proto-goth ("Fackt") and even some beautiful power-pop melodies ("Stuff It") and even funky danceable tracks ("Serve Hot or Cold").
This is one of my favourite German punk albums, and is heartily recommended to any post-punk fan. In contrast to many other greaet German punk, the singer is British -- so non-Germans should have no problem with the lyrics, he gives the whole album a genuine UK feel.
Here, at Ezhevika Fields, I'm providing information & listening preview samples of lost albums from the past. My only aim is to promote real art & music for some reasons currently unavailable according to my sources. If you are the artist or label & would like the link to be removed just contact me & it will be done.
I'd like to thank all original uploaders; collectors sharing music giving us the unique possibility to explore the culture. Thank you!
